My profession consists of a lot of different facets. A fundamentally important facet of my work is the material. I like to use material that is not common within the jewelry field and not endowed with the traditional value that people expect from jewelry. PVC I have already been working with for several years and the shapes I make are built up exclusively of small (punched out) circles of this material.
The results remind of textile regarding the surface and experiencing the tactility of it.
Another facet is the time reflected in my jewelry. The meditative potential behind the elaborate work becomes visible in the sequence of the separate minimalist dots.
Wearability and the relevance jewelry can have for a person is a part of the developing process.
